  • Advanced Admin Controls: Added verified admin roles with CRUD (create, read, update, delete) functionality to manage courses and users with precision.
  • Waitlist Functionality: Implemented conditional access so that unsubscribed users are automatically restricted until registration.
  • Storage and Access Policies: Deployed row-level security through Supabase to govern video storage, access rights, and usage control.

These changes transformed UpSkaill from a content platform into a structured, secure, multi-role learning environment — with infrastructure that protects trainers, supports learners, and facilitates long-term growth.

Days 10–12: Content at Scale – Brought to Life by AI

With the core platform operational, attention turned to populating it — fast. Thanks to our AI-first approach, we were able to move from scripts to high-quality course delivery in record time.

Highlights from the AI-Powered Content Process:

  • Avatar-Led Video Lessons: Using HeyGen and pre-trained AI workflows, scripts were turned into engaging video content featuring life-like avatars delivering each lesson in a natural tone.
  • Downloadable Resources: Supporting materials — including summaries, checklists and action plans — were generated with AI and formatted instantly for each course module.
  • Voice Matching and Personalisation: New experiments began around matching avatar voices to real trainers, enabling a truly personalised tutor experience without the need for on-camera presence.
  • Trainer Toolkit Deployment: UpSkaill’s infrastructure was opened up to external trainers, empowering them to build, launch, and monetise their own modules — entirely powered by the same AI stack we used ourselves.

The result was a scalable, repeatable, AI-driven content engine that delivers complete course experiences — from written material to avatar-led videos — all without traditional filming, editing or design bottlenecks.

Days 13–14: The Launch – Going Live and Driving Revenue

The final 48 hours of the challenge were dedicated to going live. This phase brought together everything we’d built and connected it to the outside world — engaging users, building anticipation, and testing real-world demand.

  • Social Media Campaigns: Strategic rollout across platforms with countdowns, teaser content, and community engagement to build buzz and early awareness.

  • Stripe Integration: Rolled out seamless subscription billing with Stripe, enabling monthly and lifetime plans with automated user access control.

By the end of Day 14, the results were immediate and promising:
